Barbershop Harmony at Billings Montana
The Big Sky Chorus was founded in 1955 and became Billings first Chapter of the Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barber Shop Quartet Singing in America (SPEBSQSA) on February 3, 1956.
The Barbershop Harmony Society, as it is now called, is an international non-profit organization dedicated to both preservation and evolution of this American style of A Capella singing. We encourage all congenial people of good character to join us as we keep the whole world singing.
Sound Interesting?
We meet each Tuesday at the St. Bernard Catholic Church at 7pm to enjoy some quality time together singing and encouraging growth through song and practice. Give us a call at (406) 281-7378, send an email, or meet us on Facebook when you are interested in sharing your voice with other like minded people. We frequently meet downstairs at the back of the church and sometimes in the sanctuary. Contact us to avoid confusion when you are ready to sit in or sing with the chorus.
